When you have an abundance of lemon balm and peppermint in your garden, what do you do? Make soda!

Simmering a handful of washed lemon balm and peppermint how to make a strong tea and adding it to finished plain water kefir and sugar, then and 2nd fermenting in a bale-topped bottle to trap the carbonation.
Delicious!
Don't like carbonated drinks? Just leave it in an open container with wrap over the top or a mason jar with the 2 piece lid not screwed on tightly. These lids are made to allow air/gases to escape during canning process.
Refreshing, delicious, lemon balm-peppermint kefir full of probiotics!

Orange flavored water kefir soda.
Water kefir with 2nd ferment using orange peels. Just a little sweet, orange flavor and full of probiotics! The longer you leave it out to ferment, the lower the sugar content.
