About Sargent's Urban Homestead

We live in a suburb outside of New Haven, CT.  We are dedicated to being as sustainable as possible in a world of convenience.  We are also striving for a  chemical-free, organic lifestyle as much as possible and hope to be fully self-sustainable some day.  

We make much of our own products, hunt, fish, garden and grow a lot of our food and medicinal herbs, can and preserve them  to save money and avoid chemicals to care for our own well-being.  

We try to live off of the land and natural resources as possible and hope that others start also going "back to the basics" to enable conservation of our natural resources for future generations and rely less on manufactured, synthetic products
