Calming Tea

Nothing better than a relaxing tea if Lemon Balm and Peppermint, hot or iced.

See how I used half of this tea to make a probiotic-rich soda!

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is known for its calming properties. It's helpful for decompressing at the end of a stressful day, headaches and restful sleep. Combined with peppermint, it is soothing for stomach upset and tastes great!

Make a cup of hot tea by just putting the leaves of Lemon Balm and Peppermint into a cup and pour hot water over to enjoy. For iced, steep leaves and stems in a jar of hot water and let cool. Strain, sweeten if you want and drink away your stress! Both herbs are very safe for children and even help with crankiness and tummy troubles and it's a caffeine-free sleep aid as well!
