Raised beds to "Geriatric" Raised beds!

As the years go on, creating higher beds will save our backs!

We have planted over 300 veggies, herbs and edible flowers in our raised beds.

We've created worm tunnels to help our soil fertility. We put in our food scraps and the worms will compost it for us!

We got the idea of worm tunnels from a gardener on YouTube named Morag Gamble. Worms are an important part of composting. This allows us to have the compost made right in the garden beds!

We also have a compost pile made from pallets for our food scraps, paper, leaves, etc. and trying to ensure that nothing goes to waste that will enhance our soil.
